Jeff Bridge's SEVENTH SON Super Bowl Spot
Legendary Pictures released a great Super Bowl spot for Jeff Bridges’ upcoming fantasy film called Seventh Son, which is finally set to open in theaters this week. I’ve been looking forward to seeing this movie since the first footage from it was revealed a couple years ago at San Diego Comic-Con. I’ve been hearing and reading a lot of mixed reactions to the film, but I think it will deliver some solid entertainment. I enjoy watching these kinds of movies!
In a time of enchantments when legends and magic collide, the sole remaining warrior of a mystical order (Bridges) travels to find a prophesized hero born with incredible powers, the last Seventh Son (Ben Barnes). Torn from his quiet life as a farmhand, the unlikely young hero embarks on a daring adventure with his battle-hardened mentor to vanquish a dark queen (Julianne Moore) and the army of supernatural assassins she has dispatched against their kingdom.
The movie was directed by Sergei Bodrov, and the action adventure film also stars Alicia Vikander, Kit Harington, Olivia Williams, Antje Traue, and Djimon Hounsou. It’s based on a book called The Spook’s Apprentice, which is also known as The Last Apprentice: Revenge of the Witch, written by Joseph Delaney. The movie is set to be released on February 6th.
