Molly Ringwald and Juliette Lewis Join JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS

Juliette Lewis and Molly Ringwald are the latest cast members to join Jon M. Chu's live-action feature adaptation of the classic 1980s cartoon series Jem and the Holograms.

The join the previously cast Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott, Aurora Perrineau, and Hayley Kiyoko, who are set to play Jem and her bandmates the Holograms. Ryan Guzman has also been cast in the film, and he will play the love interest, Rio. We don't know who Lewis or Ringwald will be playing in the film yet. They seem like they would make a great fit in this world though.

According to THR, the film is being described as "a modern take on the mysterious pop star and will follow the band through Los Angeles on a music-driven adventure."
