Killer Instinct seemed dead for quite awhile, but thanks to developer Double Helix and the XBox One, the franchise is getting a true renaissance. For a game that is largely considered a tier below the Street Fighters and Virtual Fighters of the world, it contained a roster of fondly remembered characters. I almost completely missed out on the franchise in its heyday, yet I still know who Jago, Glacius, and Fulgore are.
