Kristen Bell and Ryan Hansen Return for VERONICA MARS Webseries
I'm happy to say that we haven't seen the last of Veronica Mars. Both Kristen Bell and Ryan Hansen will reprise their roles in a new Veronica Mars spinoff web-series called Play It Again, Dick. Rob Thomas is the brains behind the project and it will air on CWseed.
The show will feature Hansen "trying to rekindle his career by writing a spinoff of the CW cult series and later Kickstarter movie. Hansen will star as himself and reprise his role as resident Neptune bro Dick Casablancas."
Bell (Veronica Mars) and Jason Dohring (Logan Echolls) will also appear as fictionalized versions of themselves and as their characters. They will be joined by several other cast members, including Enrico Colatoni (Keith Mars), Percy Daggs III (Wallace Fennel), Ken Marino (Vinnie Van Lowe), and Chris Lowell (Piz). They will all either appear as themselves, as their characters in Hansen’s imagined spinoff, or as both.
The series is set to premiere the week of September 15th. Episodes ranging between eight and 10 minutes will air weekly.
