Looks Like PRINCESS DIARIES 3 Is Moving Forward with Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews
I’ve heard rumors about a third Princess Diaries movie being developed, and it actually sounds like it’s going to happen. At least, everyone seems to be preparing for it. While making an appearance on Larry King Now, The Princess Diaries director Garry Marshall offered an update on The Princess Diaries 3 saying:
“Well, they talk about it. Disney always likes to announce things, so they tell Garry, ‘Shut up, we’ll announce it. [Anne Hathaway] came to my office, she was quite pregnant…she puts her computer on the table, pushes three buttons, there’s Julie Andrews on Skype in Long Island. And we have a meeting.”
I’ve spent a lot of time watching the Princess Diaries films over and over again because I have three girls that love watching them. They’ve been wanting to see another movie, and they keep asking about it, so they will be thrilled to hear this news as it sounds very promising. Marshall obviously isn’t shutting up about it.
It’s pretty cool to hear that Anne Hathaway is involved again and will be reprising her role because she’s become such a huge star. But, she kinda does owe her career to the franchise since she made her big screen debut in the first movie. It’s also pretty cool to hear that Julie Andrews will be back as well.
I’m sure this team of talent will give fans of the franchise something fun that will feed their fandom.
