Marc Webb to Direct Soviet Spy Thriller COLD COMFORT

Movie Marc Webb by Joey Paur

The Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb is going to take a break from Spider-Man for a few months to direct a Soviet spy thriller for Fox based on a book called Cold Comfort (aka How To Catch A Russian Spy)

The film will tell the true story of an American civilian turned self-taught spy, "who worked with the FBI to bring down a Russian intelligence agent on American soil."

Webb is a crazy talented director, and this will be another great project for him to develop. On top of the Spider-Man films, Webb directed another one of my favorite movies (500) Days of Summer. I imagine that he will direct Cold Comfort before he takes on the task of bringing The Amazing Spider-Man 3 to the screen.
