Mark Ruffalo Wants to See Hulk Confront Bruce Banner in THOR: RAGNAROK

Not long ago, it was confirmed that Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok. We’re still not exactly sure how that story will play out, but we’ve heard that Thor and Hulk will embark on a thrilling cosmic adventure.

For the first time since the announcement, Ruffalo has acknowledged that he’ll be in the film in an interview with the Huffington Post. He shared his excitement about Hulk's return and said:

"I play Dr. Bruce Banner, and occasionally I turn into a big green, mean monster...(laughs)... I am excited to keep coming back to this role. I see a lot of space for it to grow."

Then, when asked about what he’d like to see in the film and how he’d like to see the character grow, he said something that is sure to get fans excited:

"I feel like there’s a lot of cool stuff to explore still, especially the relationship between Banner and Hulk. Hopefully, we’ll see the two of them in a scene together. That would be cool!"

Seeing the Hulk confront Banner might be the greatest thing that Marvel could do in the MCU. There’s a very good chance that this could happen as the script for the film is being written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, who previously wrote the script for the Marvel animated film Hulk Vs., which was a double feature in which Hulk fought Wolverine and Thor. Hulk and Banner do face off in that movie, and it’s hard not to think that they will implement some elements from that into Thor: Ragnarok. I included a clip from the Hulk Vs. Thor segment from the animated film below.

Thor: Ragnarok will be released on July 28th, 2017. What do you think about the idea of Hulk and Banner possibly coming face-to-face?

It's gods versus monsters in this epic 45 minute movie!
