MOCKINGJAY - PART 1 Calls Itself the Most Anticipated Movie of the Year in New TV Spot

We are less than a month away from the release of Mockingjay. No, wait, scratch that. We are less than a month away from the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, and to celebrate this important milestone, Lionsgate has released a new TV spot that I think has a tiny bit of new footage. Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) is crying, and I don’t think we’ve seen that before? (I really hope they clean up Peeta’s storyline a little bit for the movie. I would like him to (SPOILER!) just have regular PTSD.) It also has a little more of Effie (Elizabeth Banks) than we've seen before. Also, LOL at Prim thinking it's hard to keep secrets from their mom.

I am pretty excited to see this as soon as it comes out, but here’s a tip for you: Mockingjay comes out on November 21st, which is the week before Thanksgiving (USA). Do not tell anyone in your family that you have seen the movie. Lie if you have to. Then on Thanksgiving, after dinner and pie when everyone is getting cranky because they ate too much and feel bloated and Aunt Bertha is telling that story about her gallstones again, pretend that a friend just texted you with an extra ticket for Mockingjay because her cousin got food poisoning and you’ve really been wanting to see this one so surely no one would mind if you slipped out… Then go out and watch it by yourself and enjoy the blissful solitude and also explosions. The Thanksgiving escape to the movie theater is the best part of Thanksgiving, which is my favorite holiday.
