More DAREDEVIL Series Details from Showrunner Steven DeKnight

Daredevil series showrunner Steven DeKnight took to Twitter recently to answer fan questions regarding the highly anticipated Marvel Netflix series. During New York City Comic-Con we got our first look at the series, along with some story details. But now we've got some new information that includes which character we won't see in the series, what the tone is like, and the inspiration behind the story development of the show. Here are many of the questions and answers from his little Twitter frenzy.

The series was inspired by Frank Miller and John Romita, Jr.'s Daredevil: Man Without Fear comic series, which is considered one of the most influential Daredevil stories ever. It follows the journey of Murdock, "who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City."

The series stars Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsely aka The Owl), Vondie Curtis Hall (Ben Urich), Toby Leonard Moore (Wesley, Wilson Fisk's right hand man), Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Fisk), and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk).
