New Photos From GHOSTBUSTERS Offer First Look at Chris Hemsworth
Five official photos have been released from the set of Paul Feig's Ghostbusters remake. They feature Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy, and as you can see above, our first look at Chris Hemsworth at the Ghostbusters' secretary.
There still aren't many story details regarding the film, but we most recently learned that some of the ghosts we'll see will come in the form of "Pilgrims, old-timey sailors, Revolutionary War spirits, and even a couple of zoot-suited gangsters." I'm sure there will be a lot more than that, but it gives us a little insight into something Feig is looking to do. Here's the brief synopsis that has been released:
"With paranormal activity on the rise, a Columbia University academic, her ghost-chasing friend, the friend’s business partner, and an MTA employee join forces to bust ghosts and save New York."
The film is also stars Andy Garcia as the Mayor of New York City, Michael K. Williams as a character named “Hawkins,” Matt Walsh as a character named “Rourke,” and Neil Casey as the film’s villain. Ghostbusters arrives in theaters on July 15th, 2016.
