ROCKET RACCOON #3 by Skottie Young — Marvel Comics Preview

In the Marvel movies, Rocket Raccoon and his trustee companion Groot have just teamed up with a thief, an assassin, and a maniac to form the Guardians of the Galaxy. In the comics, however, Rocket has ventured out on his own in a solo series being written and illustrated by Skottie Young with color art by Jean Francois Beaulieu. Comicbook.com debuted a preview of Issue #3, which finds our hero teaming up with Macho Gomez. The picture above is the cover by Young, and I’ve also included the variant cover below, which was done by Pascal Campion.

Everyone’s favorite pistol-packin’ procyon* finally finds himself face-to-face with the intergalactic imposter. • It’s macho ado about everything as Macho Gomez guest-stars and the Ex-Terminators are hot on Rocket’s tail! *Procyon is the scientific term for raccoon, obviously.

Rocket Raccoon #3 is due out September 3rd. To read the first four pages of the issue, head on over to Comicbook.com.
