Last week it was rumored that Hanna actress Saoirse Ronan had auditioned for a role in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII. Well, she confirmed the news herself in a recent interview with Sky News, and then added, "so has everyone".
Of course she wouldn't go into any detail about the film, saying that the "bosses" would "chop off [her] head with a lightsaber."
Now if she used the term "bosses" in her reply, that would indicate that J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy are her bosses... right? And if she has "bosses" does that mean she actually has the role? I don't know, I'm just reading between the lines, because that's what geeks do in situations like this. But she turned down Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and why would she do that if she didn't have something bigger lined up? Just sayin'...
As of right now, there's no information on who she auditioned for, but it could be for one of the Solo twins, a female villain, or any number of characters that will be in the movie.
Ronan is a fantastic young actress, so if she does actually end up in the movie I have no doubt she'll be great in it.
