Sex, Violence, and Donuts Take Center Stage in Newest FARGO Trailer

Fargo was my favorite thing on television last year, and I'm very curious to see if showrunner Noah Hawley is going to be able to recapture the magic of the show's brilliant first season in season two. We've seen a few quick teaser trailers so far, but now there's one that pulls back the curtain a bit further and gives us the best look yet at our main cast of characters.

Season 2 is a prequel to the first season, taking place in the 1970s and following the character of Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson) as a young cop back from the Vietnam War who investigates ties to organized crime in the Midwest. This new trailer shows that many of the same elements that made the first season great — violence, sex, and humor — are back on display this time around.

Fargo returns to FX in September.
