Simon Kinberg Teases X-MEN: APOCALYPSE's Post-Credits Scene

X-Men: Apocalypse's release date is quickly approaching, and even though I thought the movie didn't live up to its full potential, it still had a couple of standout moments that make it worth watching. One of the things that wasn't attached to the early press screening a few days ago was the film's post-credits scene, so I'm completely in the dark about what that's going to be. The one for Days of Future Past directly hinted at the coming of Apocalypse (which, at the time, we already knew was in development), so will this one do something similar?

Writer/producer Simon Kinberg told Collider about what we can expect after the credits roll:

“It’s a nod toward potentially a lot of different movies. I mean certainly the Wolverine movie is related to what happens at the end of it, but there’s also another character that’s introduced, at least in name, in the tag and he could show up in any host of different X-Men films. Maybe a Gambit movie, maybe another X-Men movie.”

Considering Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston has put his name out there as wanting to play the villainous Mister Sinister, maybe that's who Kinberg is referring to. Sinister has a complicated history with Gambit in the comics that would probably be a bit too confusing to incorporate into a live-action movie (even with this film franchise's completely screwed up timeline), but if Kinberg can figure out a way to condense and streamline that history, it'd be cool to see Cranston face off against Channing Tatum on the big screen. Who do you think is referenced in the Apocalypse post-credits scene?
