STAR WARS: EPISODE VII Still has a Female Lead to Cast

Yesterday we finally got the huge casting announcement for Star Wars: Episode VII that we were all waiting for, but the casting process still isn't over. There's still one major role to fill and it's for a female lead. There was a lot of talk yesterday about how Daisy Ridley was the only new actress announced yesterday, but it looks like she'll be joined by at least one more soon. There are no details on what the role would be, but we can always speculate from past updates.

It was previously reported that Abrams meet with 12 Years a Slave actress Lupita Nyong'o, which has been rumored to be for a Sith role, but that's not confirmed. There was also some talk of an unknown British actress named Maisie Richardson-Sellers that was apparently circling a role.

There's been no updates on what is going on with those actresses, but I think Nyong'o is the one most likely to be announced. At least it will be her role that needs to be filled. So if it's not her, it will be someone else in the part.

Whoever is cast in the movie they will also join John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. It's so awesome that this movie has its cast and that it actually going into production soon! Before you know it we'll be sitting in the movie theater watching the story unfold right before our eyes.  So cool.
