Stunning New WONDER WOMAN Footage Screened at CinemaCon

Warner Bros. had their big CinemaCon presentation on Tuesday in Las Vegas. A lot of the stuff they showed from their upcoming slate of films was just previously released trailers that we've already posted on the site. However, they started the presentation off strong with a kick-ass sizzle reel for their upcoming DC film slate. It's also where they confirmed that Ben Affleck is officially attached to direct the solo Batman movie.

Included in the sizzle reel was about 30 seconds of never before seen footage of Wonder Woman, which seriously gave me the chills. Wonder Woman is a film that I'm extremely excited for, her introduction in Batman v Superman kinda blew me away, and with Patty Jenkins at the helm of the solo film, I think we're gonna get a film that will be better that Batman v Superman.

As for the footage we were shown, there was a lot of stuff incorporated from films such as Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, and concept art from The Flash and Aquaman. All of this stuff we've already seen, except for the Wonder Woman footage.

Almost all of the shots we see of her are action shots and of her kicking ass in the most badass of ways. There's footage of her riding on a horse through the woods as well as in an open field. We see Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor in the cockpit of an old WWI fighter plane that is ready to take off. There's a clip of Wonder Woman in a room brutally taking on a group of soldiers by herself, which concludes with a slow motion crazy spin kick through the air. We got to see her deflect some bullets off her forearms, and they bounce off the kill three soldiers. Then there's a shot of Diana not wearing her uniform, instead, she's wearing a beautiful bright blue dress, which makes her completely pop in the tone of the film.

The movie looks like it incorporates the same tone of Batman v Superman, except this is a period setting that takes place in World War I. So you get the awesome war setting, with the period costumes, and more.

We also learn from the reel that the movie will tell Wonder Woman’s “entire history,” and it will also explain what her mission is. That's about it!  Wonder Woman opens June 2nd, 2017.
