THOR: RAGNAROK Official Set Photo and Synopsis Offers New Story Details
A new official photo from Thor: Ragnarok has been released featuring Taika Waititi directing Chris Hemsworth all decked out as Thor on the set of the film. We also have a synopsis to share with you that offers us some new information on the story. It confirms that Thor will have to battle Hulk in the gladiator games on the planet of Sakaar. Here's the synopsis:
In Marvel Studios' Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!
I've enjoyed all of the Thor films, but I'm especially excited about this one. I think Waititi is going to take the franchise to a whole new epic level that we aren't expecting. Thor: Ragnarok also stars Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins. The movie comes out on November 3rd, 2017.
