Trailer For Robert Kirkman's Sci-Fi Thriller AIR, Starring Norman Reedus

The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman's Skybound Entertainment is pushing into theatrical features, and its first film is called Air. The trailer debuted at Comic-Con, and TWD star Norman Reedus and Guardians of the Galaxy alum Djimon Hounsou play the two main characters. The film hits theaters and On Demand on August 14th, and premiers tonight for a select group of fans at San Diego Comic-Con.

I dig all of the people involved with this project, but I can't help but thinking that this looks almost like a made-for-TV movie. What do you think?

In the near future, breathable air is nonexistent. Virtually all of humanity has disappeared and those chosen to reestablish society reside in a controlled state of suspended animation. Two engineers (Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou) tasked with guarding the last hope for mankind struggle to preserve their own sanity and lives while administering to their vital task at hand.
