Vera Farmiga Will Play Millie Bobby Brown’s Mom in GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS
Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel, The Conjuring) is the latest addition to director Michael Dougherty's Godzilla: King of the Monsters. She is taking on the role of Millie Bobby Brown's mom and Kyle Chandler's wife.
I'm loving this cast that Dougherty is putting together! Farmiga is a such a wonderfully talented actress, and she's going to fit right in with Chandler (Friday Night Lights) and Brown (Stranger Things). Seems like a nice little family to take on Godzilla.
There are still no details on the story for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, but I trust the creative team behind it. I've enjoyed all of Doughtery's films such as Trick 'r Treat and Krampus. They're incredibly fun movies, and I'm sure he'll bring that fun to his Godzilla sequel.
The only person from the first movie said to be returning is Ken Watanabe. Godzilla: King of Monsters is set to be released on March 22, 2019 with Godzilla vs. Kong slated to hit theaters the following year on May 29, 2020.
