Watch: Tilda Swinton Plays a Rock Star On Vacation in A BIGGER SPLASH
Tilda Swinton looks to continue her string of impressive performances in A Bigger Splash, a new movie from I Am Love director Luca Guadagnino. Here's the full synopsis:
Rock legend Marianne Lane is recuperating on the volcanic island of Pantelleria with her partner Paul when iconoclast record producer and old flame Harry unexpectedly arrives with his daughter Penelope and interrupts their holiday, bringing with him an A-bomb blast of nostalgia from which there can be no rescue. A Bigger Splash is a sensuous portrait of desire, jealousy and rock and roll, under the Mediterranean sun.
Gorgeously shot in dazzling locations, A Bigger Splash looks to have a little more up its sleeve than this trailer implies, although the final seconds hint at the aspects that make it more than just a breezy vacation movie. At the very least, I think we can expect a beautiful movie with a terrific Swinton performance, and that seems like reason enough to check this out. Co-starring Ralph Fiennes, Dakota Johnson, and Matthias Schoenaerts, A Bigger Splash arrives in theaters on March 13th, 2016.
