It’s only until after you grow up that you are able to see some of the twisted darkness that is put into the shows that we grew up watching. ScreenRant has released a great video that highlight ten theories regarding certain kids series' that change the way we see them. Some of the shows included in the video are Spongebob Squarepants, The Tick, Winnie the Pooh, Pokemon, Saved By the Bell, and more. There are some great theories here, some of which I’ve never heard before. 

When a TV show is being created with children in mind as the target audience, you would think that the message would be kept as light or clear-cut as possible. But when the kids who love those shows grow up, they start to see the straightforward stories, characters, and messages in a brand new light. Or darker than ever before.
