10 Iconic Horror Theme Songs Are Emotionaly Different with a Major Key Change

It’s amazing how music can be completely changed playing the same exact notes, but in a different key. Ian Gordon did this with iconic horror movie theme songs and changed it from a minor key to a major key. It completely changes the emotional response, and makes these songs a lot less threatening. In fact, some of them now sound happy and inspirational.

The theme songs include Jaws (1975), The Fog (1980), Psycho (1960), Phantasm (1979), The Omen (Ave Satani, 1976), The X-Files (1993), Halloween (1978), Saw (2004), The Exorcist (1973), and A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).
