100 MONSTER HUNTS Is a Fantastic Tool for Any D&D DM

If you’re looking for some monster bounties or short monster-related quests, you may want to go get 100 Monster Hunts from Vall Syrene. This is an unofficial supplement for Dungeons & Dragons that offers 100 bounty side quests that involve hunting monsters of various levels. No matter what level your party is, there’s a bounty for you.

When you open the PDF, you’ll be confronted with tables to randomly select the crafted bounty for your party, but after the tables is the good stuff. That’s where Syrene has included information about rewards, the actual bounty advertisement your players may see in the town square (or wherever they get it), and additional details that will help you flesh out things and tie it in with your campaign. This is an invaluable tool for DMs in my opinion, although many of the creatures will require you to have many of the books available, including the three core rulebooks, Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes, Volo’s Guide to Monsters, and Xanathar’s Guide to Everything. Don’t worry though, because the file will tell you what book is required for each bounty and even what page it is located on.

Cie shouldered the heavy knapsack, it’s bloodstained bottom still dripping red droplets onto the cavern floor. She grunted as the weight shifted onto her left shoulder, and began the steep climb back to civilization.

She knew they needed money. But the parchment Bhardak spotted nailed to the tavern bounty board seemed too good to be true from the start. 3,000 gold for the head of a giant? Easy money. Of course, the locals hadn’t really seen the beast themselves. And nobody knew about it’s pet.
Maybe next time they’ll do more scouting and research on the job before marching in and almost getting themselves killed. Though as she winced from the wound in her side where the beast savaged her, she couldn’t help but grin.

It’s going to be one hell of a payday.

You can grab 100 Monster Hunts on the DMs Guild for $4.99.
