12 Character Posters Released for STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER
Lucasfilm has shared a collection of twelve character posters for director J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. The posters feature Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), Jannah (Naomi Ackie), Zori Bliss (Keri Russell), and Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams). Then there’s Chewbacca, R2-D2, BB-8, and D-0.
The film will take fans “on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the riveting conclusion of the seminal Skywalker saga, where new legends will be born and the final battle for freedom is yet to come.”
The movie also stars Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens in U.S. theaters on December 20th. As excited as I am for this movie, these posters aren’t really that special. They look like trading cards.
