2 New INTERSTELLAR TV Spots - "Risk" and "Next Step"

Paramount Pictures has released two new TV spots for Christopher Nolan's sci-fi epic Interstellar. The spots are called "Next Step" and "Risk." The movie is expected to beat the opening of Nolan's Batman Begins. According to Variety, Interstellar is on course for a $50 million debut when it opens next month. That would make Interstellar the fourth best opening for a Nolan film. The Dark Knight Rises opened with $160M in 2012, The Dark Knight opened with $158M in 2008, Inception had a $68M debut, and 2005's Batman Begins pulled in $48M on its opening day. Interstellar looks jaw-droopingly good, so of course it's going to do very well.

The movie stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Ellen Burstyn, John Lithgow, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Wes Bentley, Bill Irwin, Mackenzie Foy, Topher Grace, and David Gyasi.

The film chronicles the "adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage."

Interstellar will be released in 70mm IMAX film, 70mm film, and 35mm film formats on Wednesday, November 5th, two days ahead of its nationwide release.
