J.J. Abrams makes Simon Pegg cry?

 

This is actually a very touching story. Or is it? I'm not really sure. But, J.J. Abrams did make Simon Pegg cry. Abrams revelaed to MTV what went down at Comic-con that brought Pegg to tears.

"I showed Simon Pegg [footage] when we were at Comic-Con. I showed him this little trailer thing and it was my favorite thing ever," Abrams said of a meeting with the man who would be Scotty. "He literally started weeping. It was ridiculous. He was sitting there, I mean he must have been plastered. Because he was looking at my iPhone [crying]."

So yeah, he could have been plastered. But I think it is one of the two options,  the footage that was shown was so bad that it made him cry, or maybe, just maybe it was so damn good that he was just overcome with so much joy he couldn't contain the feelings of excitment that swelled up within him. I would like to think it is the latter.

J.J. Abrams also revealed how long 'Star Trek' will be.

"It will be a two-hour movie," Abrams said of the film's running time. "I'm sick of these two hours and forty-five minute movies. Seriously, it's like I don't have enough time to stay two hours and forty-five minutes. I'm exhausted just saying that twice. I can't stand it."

Whoa! Calm down buddy! We get it. Your a busy guy. I however am not busy and I will gladley sit through a 3 hour movie as long as it is freakin amazing.
