Mark Millar Superman Plot Revealed and WOW!

Mark Miller recently sat down with Empire and shared his Superman Movie pitch with them. This movie would be epically amazing! I cannot believe that Warner bro's has not jumped on this idea because it's brilliant and huge!Mark Millar wants to create an epic 8-hour screen story which will follow the entire life of Kal-El from his birth on Krypton a thousand years ago, until he is the last being left on Earth.

Whoa.

We know Millar has been working closely with an unnamed big-Hollywood director but we still don't know who - on a pitch he is calling the Magnum Opus of Superman stories. The 8-hour saga, would be split into 3 films released once a year. Here he goes into a little bit more of the story.

"It's gonna be like Michael Corleone in the Godfather films, the entire story from beginning to end, you see where he starts, how he becomes who he becomes, and where that takes him. The Dark Knight showed you can take a comic book property and make a serious film, and I think the studios are ready to listen to bigger ideas now."

I hope they are ready to listen! Hell if they don't jump on board this thing then we know they are not listening and Hollywood is full of dumb-asses. He goes on to say:

"I want to start on Krypton, a thousand years ago, and end with Superman alone on Planet Earth, the last being left on the planet, as the yellow sun turns red and starts to supernova, and he loses his powers."

I just got goose bumps. This would be the most amazing superhero film ever made. The hero Superman deserves to have this ultimate film made about him. I am so on board this idea! If Warner Bros goes with anything other than this then I will be so pissed off. They were smart with Batman and stupid with the last Superman movie. It is time to be smart with Superman. Take this idea! Make into a movie! Anything else would be uncivilized.
