Looks like Barack Obama is a Fanboy
It looks like President-Elect Barack Obama is one of us. The UK Telegraph recently listed 50 things that we might not know about our next President and it included some pretty surprising things. Such as the fact he is a comic-book collecting, movie watching, gadget lovin, Geek. Here are a few things from that list:
He collects Spider-Man and Conan the Barbarian comics
I wonder if he is pissed about the whole Brett Ratner directing thing as well.
He has read every Harry Potter book
He owns a set of red boxing gloves autographed by Muhammad Ali
He is a sports geek as well.
His favorite films are Casablanca and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
I think Casablanca is overrated but ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' is one of my favorite films as well.
He took Michelle to see the Spike Lee film Do The Right Thing on their first date
Oh wow. Not sure what to say about that.
He says his worst habit (other than smoking )is constantly checking his BlackBerry
He needs to get rid of it and grab himself and iPhone
He uses an Apple Mac laptop
See. He is already on board with Apple.
His favorite fictional television programmes are Mash and The Wire
Yes and Yes. He understands how awesome ‘The Wire' was
He has read the Twilight books with his Daughters
But, you wont see him at the midnight showing.
