I have been hearing a lot about this 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' movie. I hear from the press that it is going to be dark, dark, and dark, and that Wolverine is dark. That this movie is much darker than the first three X-Men movies. Well, I'll believe it when I see it. I am also hearing from other people from the inside that Wolverine is going to suck, suck, suck, that the director wanted it darker but the studio executives lightened it up and that they changed the character of Deadpool and that he in no way represents what he is in the comics. So, we have different people saying different things about the new Wolverine movie.
I saw the footage and Comic-con and it looked really good, we didn't get to see much of Deadpool though. Hugh Jackman describes his character a bit:
"There's a scene in the first X-Men movie," said Jackman, "where Wolverine's introduced in a bar, fighting in a cage, and you felt that he did this every night of his life. If this movie is successful, you should feel that this guy can walk straight off the end of this film and into that bar. "
I guess we will know who is telling the truth once we see it. The trailer for this movie will be attached with 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' so look out for it. In the meantime hear are a couple new publicity photos from Empire mag. Enjoy!
