16 Fall Films you may or may not Want to see with Pics

by Joey Paur

Venkman here with some new pics and info for 16 movies that are coming out this fall. Thanks to EW for the Pics. These films are pretty much what we have to look forward to the of the year. Harry Potter was supposed to be one here but not anymore. We got some pretty good movies coming out there are a couple of duds as well, but thats the name of the game. Check em' out.

BURN AFTER READING - Sept. 12

This film looks like it is going to be great! It looks like the Coen Brothers have got another classic movie on their hands. Its got Gym employees, a top secret CD, blackmail, and a fantastic cast. If you are a movie lover I don't think you can go wrong with this one.

EAGLE EYE - Sept. 26

Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan

This movie looks pretty amazing. The trailer is really action packed fast and exciting. Its about 2 strangers that become pawns of a mysterious woman they have never met, she seems to know their every move. Realizing they are being used to further her plot for a political assassination, they must work together to outwit the woman before she has them killed. I am looking forward to watching this film.

NICK & NORAH'S INFINITE PLAYLIST

Michael Cera, Kat Dennings, Ari Graynor

This looks like your Juno hit of the year. The movie seems pretty fun and playful, and takes place during one crazy night. I like movies like this it makes me feel young again and brings back the memories of the stupid shit I use to do when i was a teenager.

BODY OF LIES - Oct. 10

Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe

The movie just looks amazing. About a former journalist that was injured in the Iraq war who hired by the CIA to track down an Al Qaeda leader in Jordan. I am sure it is going to have several twists and turns throughout the movie and possibly leave us speechless at the end. I hope its that good!

W - Oct. 17

Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Banks, Richard Dreyfus

It's a biopic about our current President and how he came to be what he became. It may end up being a pretty scary film depending on how much of it is true. It will be the most controversial movie of the year hands down.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR - Oct. 24

Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale

I don't care. My wife will have to take the kids to it.

CHANGELING - Oct. 31

Angelina Jolie, John Malkovich, Jeffrey Donovan

This just sounds like a crazy kind of twisted movie about a woman who's son goes missing. One day her son returns home and she begins to suspect that the boy returned is not her own. Clint Eastwood has directed this film which means it is going to be a great little movie.

ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO - Oct. 31

Seth Rogen, Elizabeth Banks

This looks like it will be your typical Kevin Smith movie. Frankly I think the guy is over rated but I like Seth Rogan so... we'll see how the movie turns out. Everyone threw a fit a panicked when it got and NC-17 rating. what a great way to build up hype for the film. I honestly think Kevin Smith set the whole thing up. I knew it would get an 'R' rating in the end.

QUANTUM OF SOLACE - Nov. 7

Daniel Craig, Gemma Arterton, Judi Dench

It's the a new bad ass James Bond flick! Nuff Said

AUSTRALIA - Nov. 14

Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman

I really like what I have seen for this movie so far. The look and style is different and unique for this kind of period film. This movie takes place in northern Australia before World War II and focuses on an English aristocrat who inherits a Huge cattle station. some asshole English cattle barons plot to take her land, so she reluctantly joins up with a cowboy type stock-man to drive 2,000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country's most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier.

THE ROAD - Nov. 14

Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron

I have only seen photos of this movie but it looks like it is going to be pretty amazing. It is a post-apocalyptic story of a man trying to get his son to safety. It looks like it got a strong story and some great actors. It has the potential to be an award type film but will the audience go see it? It is going to be a very depressing movie. But It looks great!

SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK - Oct. 24

Philip Seymour Hoffman, Samantha Morton, Catherine Keener

This movie is going to be one of those whacked out charming films written and directed by Charlie Kaufman. Its about a stage director that sets a new play he is doing on a life size version of New York City that is built inside a huge warehouse. I love it.

DEFIANCE - Dec. 12

Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber, Jamie Bell

This looks like a great movie based on the true story of 3 brothers that formed a resistance army of hiding Jews during WWII. I love History movies so I'm in.

TWILIGHT - Dec. 12

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson

This is going to be a huge hit. Bigger than Sex in the City. I saw first hand the fans reactions to this movie at Comic-Con. I still don't see the appeal. I am sure I will see this movie though just to see what all the fuss is all about. But you wont see me at the midnight showing. You might see my wife there though. Don't mess with the Twilight fans the will kill you.

THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON - Dec. 25

Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett

This is one of the fall movies I am most excited for. If you have seen the amazing trailer you will know why. It looks like a beautifully shot movie with an amazing and strange story. Plus its directed by David Fincher who is one of my favorite directors.

MARLEY & ME - Dec. 25

Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston

Its a romantic comedy. I haven't heard or seen much about the film, I saw the teaser trailer and it just looked lame. Its about a life changing dog or something.

REVOLUTIONARY ROAD - Dec. 26

Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio

Yes they are back together again. The last time we saw these two together they were trying to survive in the middle of the atlantic ocean. its about A young couple living in a Connecticut suburb during the mid-1950s struggle to come to terms with their personal problems while trying to raise their two children. I am sure their will be lots of drama.
