Unnecessary Sequel Alert! Point Break Part 2 – Indo

Man oh man, Sequels are on a rampage aren’t they?! Why is Hollywood bringing life back to classic movies that were good for the time period in which they were made and they still have that classic goodness to them when you watch those films. Its crazy! But here we are set for another sequel.
Point break: Indo because it takes place in Indonesia you see. This sequel is going to be directed by Jan De Bont. The script was also written by Peter Lliff who wrote the original movie. Is Keanu reeves going to be in it? NO. What about Patrick Swayze? Ummm, No poor guys got other things to worry about at the moment.

Apparently the Plot is supposed to be Top Secret. But I found the synopsis anyway at IESB.net, and it say s this:

When Billy Dalton, military special ops and star surfer, is disqualified from the pro-surfing tour, he takes off for the coast of Bali looking for the perfect wave.  While there he’s recruited by a private security force who are trying to find a gang known as The Bush Administration, surfing outlaws and modern day pirates who work like “The Ex-Presidents,” a bank robbing crew from Malibu twenty years ago.

Sounds great huh? Common! You gotta love the surfing outlaws known as The Bush Administration! I hope they were masks of President Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rice as they rob the poor to give to the rich.

There is no casting news yet but you can be sure they will pull some young hip people out of the TV to play the special ops star surfer who will fight against The Bush Administration.
