First Impression Review: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
So I went out and bought Metal Gear Solid 4 yesterday. This is a game I have been waiting to play since the first time I saw a clip from it a few years ago before the PS3 was even out. In fact this game and the Blu ray player are the only reasons why I bought a PS3. So far I have only got a couple hours of game play in. I was able to play it in-between the NBA Finals and The Incredible Hulk. But I wanted to give a first impression review of the game. Let me just say it was worth the wait, and worth buying a PS3 for!
This game just blows my mind. From the moment it starts you can't take your eyes off the screen. I honestly couldn't believe how amazing it was! This is the best looking game ever made. The CG and graphics are incredible. It like watching a top notch CG movie! The details are amazing! This littlest things stick out. As I am watching and playing the game I am constantly surprised at how good it looks.
I really like how the story starts out it draws you in really quick. The way the story flows is really interesting. I can't wait to see how the story unfolds.
The game play was a little difficult for me at first because I have been playing Xbox 360 for so long. This is the first game I have played on my PS3. But the more I played and the more I died the more I learned. By the time I had to stop playing I had the controls down pretty good. It just takes practice. If you are used to playing PS3 it may not be a big deal for you.
Metal Gear Solid 4 is an amazing game packed with everything you could possibly want in a incredibly awesome video game of greatness! If you own a PS3 you have to buy this game! If you love video games but don't have a PS3 go out and buy one with the game! If you don't do either you are missing out on the future of gaming!
