Breaking News! Louis Leterrier set to Direct 'Clash of the Titans'!
Wow! I didn't see this one coming! I knew that Warner Bros planned on remaking this classic film and IESB even did a script reveiw for it awhile back and loved it. I guess Warner Bros does to, Now the project has been put on the fast track and the WB wants to get it done. I guess Louis won't be directing Hulk 2 anytime soon. This is great news though! I am very confident that Louios Leterrier will bring us a amazing Clash of the Titans movie. I am happy with Warners choice. The script seems like it is pretty amazing. It was written by Lawrence Kasden who also did 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'. IESB says the script can be compared to 300 and can easily be a 'R' rated movie with the violence, blood gore and nudity, but to be honest I don't think Warner Bros will allow Clash to have an 'R' rating. I really don't think that story needs an 'R' rating anyway.
The Original 'Clash of the Titans' was one of my favorite movies as a kid. This is a great story for people of all ages that everyone can enjoy. I am excited to see what the upgrade of this movie is going to look like. With the special effects we have today I can only imagine is is going to look amazing. I still love Ray Harryhausen's monsters though. Those can never be replaced. But I am excited to see what they do with this thing.
