Marvin the Martian gets his own Film

by Joey Paur

Venkman here - Its seems Warner Bros is feeling confident these days with the success of 'The Dark Knight' so confident in fact that they are willing to make yet another live action blended with CGI movie of the bugs Bunny mega villian 'Marvin the Martian'.

This could actually be a very serious and dark film about an alien who is hell bent on destroying the world we all know and love. Chuck Jones created this evil mastermind for a Looney Tunes cartoon in 1949. They only person that can stop him is not a person at all, but a rabbit, a rabbit by the name of Bugs Bunny. He alone has the power to stop the deadly Martian from killing us all!

Or it could just be a movie like:
Johnson and Kosove told Daily Variety that "Marvin" will be aimed at the family demo along the same lines as Alcon's "Racing Stripes" and "My Dog Skip."

Crystal, a former Warner exec with a first-look deal at Alcon through his Charlie Co. banner, developed the pitch as a Christmas story, with Marvin coming to Earth to destroy Christmas but being prevented from doing so when he's trapped in a gift box.

Eh, too bad. they could have had a great movie on their hands. I just don't see Marvin the Martian as a Christmas movie. It sounds pretty lame. But the WB has yet to still make a good movie blending Looney Tunes with live action. they have all been awfull. They will never be able to make a movie as good as the original cartoons.

Marvin the Matian is being developded Alcon Entertainment through Warner bros. Producing the film are Broderick Johnson, Andrew Kosove, and Steve Crystal.
