Is it really any surprise? There is no way anyone would ever think of making 'Robocop into a PG-13 flick. This has been confirmed by MTV. Where there even any rumors out there saying is wasn't going to be rated 'R'? Had the movie been in the hands of Brett Ratner then it would be time to worry. The 'Robocop' reimagining is being direted by Darren Aronofsky who also directed "Requiem for a Dream" and "Pi". After going to several other web-sites I am surprised that the 'Robocop' reboot is such a big deal.
Lets just be prepared for lots of blood and violence like in the first one. The other thing it wont be is 3D. That doesn't really effect if I'm going to go see it or not either. So it wont be in 3D. I am sorry to disappoint you on both fronts if you hoped it would be a 3-D PG-13 movie, it ain't gonna happen.
I believe the original 'Robocop movie was given a rated 'X' before it went 'R'.
