While Harry Potter Fans get Pissed at WB Twilight Fans will love them
Venkman here and it looks like the Movie 'Twilight' has moved from a Dec. 12 release date, to Harry Potter old release date Nov. 21. That 22 days ahead of schedule. I know that it is a huge difference in time, but I am sure the Twilight fans of the world are going to be text messaging each other about this fantastic news! Here is what the trades report:
"When Warner Bros. decided to move 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' to the summer of 2009, we saw a unique opportunity to slot in our film which has been gaining tremendous awareness and momentum over the past several months," Summit's Rob Friedman said.
Striking a respectful tone, Friedman added, "We by no means are trying to fill the shoes of the incredible Potter franchise for 2008, rather we are just looking to bring the fans of Stephanie Meyer's incredible book series the film as soon possible from a programming perspective."
So there you have it Twilight fans! May I make a suggestion? Please put a pillow to your face when you scream to muffle the sound. I know how you ladies are when it come to Stephanie Meyers Twilight book series my wife is one of you.
