Clive Owen's 'The International' Trailer

by Joey Paur

I think Clive Owen is a intense actor that can get the job done in these types of movies. I have liked Clive Owen in most the movies he has done, he is fun to watch to watch do his thing. But after watching this trailer for 'The International' I have to say I'm really not that interested. It just looks like this type of story has been done to death.

The movie also stars Naomi Watts. She has her good movies and bad movies. Here is the story summary:

Interpol Agent Louis Salinger (Clive Owen) and Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Eleanor Whitman (Naomi Watts) are determined to bring to justice one of the world's most powerful banks. Uncovering myriad and reprehensible illegal activities, Salinger and Whitman follow the money from Berlin to Milan to New York to Istanbul. Finding themselves in a high-stakes chase across the globe, their relentless tenacity puts their own lives at risk as their targets will stop at nothing - even murder - to continue financing terror and war. Directed by Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run) from an original screenplay written by Eric Singer, The International is being shot on location in Germany and throughout Europe.

I don't know maybe I am just not in the mood tonight for an international movie thriller. Watch the trailer. What do you think?
