Sony got it's Hands on Mark Millars 'War Heroes'

Mark Millars most recent comic book 'War Heroes' that currently only has two issues out has recently been optioned by Sony Pictures to be adapted into a very amazing film if done right. Variety reports:

Sony has picked up Mark Millar's comicbook "War Heroes" for Michael DeLuca to produce. Studio's Columbia Pictures is currently seeking a writer to adapt the books.

I recently picked up the first couple issues of the comic book and I thought it was great! I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading it.

War Heroes is about a American super-soldier program. After America goes to war with Iran, the people eventually just get fed up with it and people stop signing up for the military. To upgrade the military and entice people to join they develop a set of pills that give regular soldiers super hero super powers. Powers like Night Vision, flying, super strength, telekinesis, and more. Like all awesome military developments it ends up in the wrong hands.

This is a great read and I suggest to pick up a copy and check it out. I can't wait for the movie!
