De Niro pulls out at the Edge of Darkness

Just days after the arrival on the set of his latest picture "Edge of Darkness", Robert De Niro packs up shop and leaves the rest of his cast and crew high and dry. Why you ask? According to De Niro's spokesman,

“Sometimes things don’t work out; it’s called creative differences.”

Ohh I hope it was a fight. Perhaps with co-star Mel Gibson. If it wasn't I dont want to know. The truth can be so boring sometimes.

Edge of Darkness is about an operative (formerly De Niro) who is sent to clean up the evidence of the murder of a young woman, whos father just happens to be a Boston PD homicide detective (of course, Mel Gibson). Production will continue around De Niro's part untill a replacement is found. We'll keep you posted.
