Well Hell. What should we think When Michael Cain Comes out and confirms Johnny Depp and Philip Seymour Hoffman will be in Batman 3?

We've heard the rumors. Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin. I thought for sure these rumor have been killed and buried, for the fact that Nolan has yet to go back to Warner Bros and give them an idea if he decides to do make a third one! Also Johnny Depp knew nothing about it but liked the idea. Now the rumor is going back up on the map becuase Michael Cain has told MTV the following:

"I was with [a Warner Bros.] executive and I said, ‘Are we going to make another one?' They said yeah. I said, ‘How the hell are we going to top Heath? And he says ‘I'll tell you how you top Heath - Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.' I said, ‘S-t, they've done it again!'" [Laughs]

So there is a Warner bros Executive out there that doesn't know what the hell he is talking about or he knows perfectly well what he's talking about it.

What do you make of all this? I think we are missing a major plot line in this story. Lets hope it gets filled soon.
