2009 Golden Globe Winners are in

by Joey Paur

First of all I am not a big fan of the Golden Globes, they just don't have the same feel as the Academy Awards, it just has a totally different vibe. Many people think that the Golden Globes give a glimpse of the future with what will happen at the Oscars, but I don't believe that, they are two completely different award shows and the Academy Awards have more class and better taste. The big winner of the night were 'John Adams' which was awesome, '30 Rock' which I love but I thought 'The Office' should have won, and 'Slumdog Millionaire' which I thought was really good but not as good as 'Gran Torino' which wasn't even nominated or 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' which should have won in my opinion. Here is a list of the 2009 Golden Globe nominees and winners, which are in red. What are your thoughts about the winners and losers? And be sure to catch out Podcast this week where we do a major Rant on the Golden Globes.
