Sundance Gem: "I Am So Proud Of You", an animated short

This has been the funniest thing I have seen this year. "I Am so Proud of You" is about a psychotic stick figure man, who goes through his psychotic stick figure life, and tells the story of his psychotic stick figure family. Hilarity ensues. This is a great exampleof complete randomness coming together to make something great. Animator Don Hertzfeldt narrates this strange little journey, he has somewhat of a Napoleon Dynamite disconnectedness in his voice that ramps up the weirdness. For the first five minutes or so of this short, you are not sure what to make of the story, by minute ten you will be in tears of laughter. If you get a chance to see "I am so proud of you", do it.
