Jamie Foxx to do Comedy Again in new Film DUE DATE

As you know Jamie Foxx started his career doing comedy, but since he's been making movies he been all about the seriousness, I want to win an Oscar type films. He's recently been cast in a new comedy called Due Date being directed by Todd Phillips who most recently direct The Hangover.  The film is being set up at Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures.

Foxx joins up with Robert Downey Jr. and Zack Galifianakis who have already been cast in the film, which is a road trip movie about a high-strung father-to-be (Downey) forced to hitch a ride with a college slacker (Galifianakis) to make it to the birth on time. Foxx will play Downey's longtime pal, who once dated his wife (Michelle Monaghan) and secretly keeps in touch with her.

It's been a long time since we've seen Foxx do comedy. It should be interesting to see if he's still funny. The film sounds like it will be a ton of fun, and it's got such a great cast. I'm sure Phillips has another hit on his hands. What do you all think?
