Joe Hill's Horror novel HORNS to get Movie Adaptation
In case you didn't know already, Joe Hill is Stephen King's son. He is also a writer of horror novels and he's written a book called, Horns, which was picked up by Mandalay Pictures to be made into a feature film. The novel won't even be published until February. Hill uses an abbreviated version of his middle name (Hillstrom) so as not to be immediately associated with his famous father.
The book is described as a love story driven by horror and vengeance that revolves around a 26-year-old man who wakes up one morning from a blackout hangover and finds horns sprouting out of his head. As the horns grow bigger by the day, the reason why seems to lie in the unsolved murder of his girlfriend.
So, this sounds like a very odd and intriguing story. It definitely sounds like it's got some originality to it which is great! I definitely find my self interested in the story and want to know more. What are your thoughts on the description of the story?
