Details and Casting Info from M. Night Shyamalan Produced film, DEVIL
As you may have heard, M. Night Shyamalan is producing three films with Media Rights Capital called, "The Night Chronicles". He has come up with the stories, but will bring on other writers and directors to bring the films to life. The first of these films, which starts shooting next week in Toronto is called, Devil.

The movie sounds like a fun little Twilight Zone type story. As for the cast Logan Marshall-Green (Across the Universe), Jenny O'Hara ("Big Love", "Drop Dead Diva"), Jacob Vargas (Death Race, The Hills Have Eyes II) and Matt Craven (Disturbia, Crimson Tide) have been cast in John Dowdle directed film, Devil. Also rounding out the ensemble cast are Chris Messina, Bojana Novakovic (Edge of Darkness Drag Me to Hell), Bokeem Woodbine (The Butcher), Geoffrey Arend ("Trust Me", The ringer) and Caroline Dhavernas (Wrecked).
Universal Pictures will distribute Devil, financing/production partnership with MRC. Drew Dowdle and Trish Hofmann will executive produce the project from a Brian Nelson script. The Dowdle brothers also made Quarantine and the forthcoming Poughkeepsie Tapes.
