AMELIA extended clips featuring Swank, Gere & McGregor

If you're thinking that Amelia looks like just another biopic, you're probably right. But you have to realize you're going into watch a two-time Oscar winner rally for her third... and it's looking like she may do it. Hillary Swank has the voice and the look down to and eerie t, as she stars as legendary American pilot Amelia Earhart, who disappeared while flying over the Pacific Ocean in 1937 in an attempt to make a flight around the world.

The events surrounding her disappearance are still a mystery. So I'm intrigued to see how far they will go, if at all, into shedding some light on that. So to shed some light on the film, here are three extended clips of Swank as Earhart, Richard Gere as Earharts's husband Gearoge Putnam, and Ewan McGregor as Gene Vidal.

Amelia was directed by Mira Nair(Namesake) and hits theaters this Friday!

I liked the pacing of the trailer, but the clips have me worried that this film will feel as slow as a plane ride around the world. But  oddly, I'm still on board. Check them out and let us know what you think!
