New Poster for Peter Jackson's THE LOVELY BONES
Peter Jackson's next film to be released is called The Lovely Bones, which is based on the wonderfully written novel by Alice Sebold. The trailer for this film looks absolutley amazing, and I am really looking forward to seeing this story brought to life on the big screen. I really like the vision that Peter Jackson has brought to this story, it didn't seem like it would be an easy book to translate to screen, but from watching the trailer, it looks like he has done a wonderful job.
In 1973, a 14-year-old girl named Susie Salmon is raped, murdered, and dismembered by a neighbor. Over the next few years she watches from a personalized heaven as her family and friends deal with their grief. She sometimes becomes angry and frustrated with the choices her family makes while looking over them.
The highly anticipated film stars Saoirse Ronan, Rachel Weisz, Mark Wahlberg, Susan Sarandon, and Stanley Tucci. The movie comes out on December 11th 2009. Check out this great looking poster below and feel free to share your thoughts.
