GROWN UPS Teaser Trailer - Sandler, Rock, Schneider, Spade & James

Here's the teaser trailer for the new Adam Sandler comedy Grown Ups. The film has plenty of SNL alums in front and behind the camera, with Sandler penning the screenplay with his SNL scribes and frequent collaborators Tim Herlihy and Fred Wolf.

The film stars Sanlder, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, and Kevin James as five friends and former teammates who reunite years later to honor the passing of their childhood basketball coach(Blake Clark). With their wives (Salma Hayek, Maria Bello) and kids in tow, they spend the Fourth of July holiday weekend together at the lake house where they celebrated their championship years earlier. Picking up where they left off, they discover why growing older doesn’t mean growing up.

Other familiar faces pop up like Gary Busey and Steve Buscemi, as well as other SNL alums like Norm MacDonald, Maya Rudolph, Tim Meadows and more making appearances.

I couldn't be happier with the cast-- other than my dislike of Kevin James in anything other than King Of Queens. The film is directed by Dennid Dugan, who's been hit and miss. As in, used to be hit, lately... miss. Dugan was behind Sandler classics like Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy, but he's also helmed comedic fouls like The Benchwarmers, and Sandler's I Now Pronouce You Chuck & Larry, and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan.

I'm hoping for the best with GROWN UPS. I gonna give it the benefit of the doubt. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think?
