Angelina Jolie SALT Movie Poster

Here is the first teaser poster for the film Salt, which stars Angelina Jolie... obviously, I mean... that is her face on the poster. Tom Cruise was originally supposed to star in the film, but ultimately ended up passing on it. The creative team then changed the male lead to a female, and bam! Here we are. Evelyn Salt (Jolie) is a CIA officer who swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. When she is accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy, Salt goes on the run to clear her name and ultimately prove she is a patriot. Using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative, she must elude capture and protect her husband or the world’s most powerful forces will erase any trace of her existence.

The film looks like it could be pretty good, but I'm just not buying Angelina Jolie as a bad-ass action star these days. She's way to skinny to make it believable that she could kick anyone's ass or take a punch or a hard fall. I'm just sayin.
