As you have probably heard, The Wrestler director, Darron Aronofsky is getting ready to shoot his next film in New York city called, Black Swan. The film is a supernatural drama that is set in the world of NYC ballet. Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis have already been cast as the lead roles in the film. Portman plays Nina, a veteran ballerina who finds herself locked in to a competitive showdown with a rival dancer named Lilly, who will be played by Kunis. The stakes and twists increase as the dancers approach a big performance. This is the film we've discussed a few times, according the script these two main characters have “ecstasy-induced hungry aggressive angry sex.” Still not sure if that will make the final cut of the film or not. I doubt it will happen, but ya never know.
/Film recently got word that a few other actors have joined the cast for the film. The actors include, Vincent Cassel, Winona Ryder, and Barbara Hershey.
Ryder plays Beth, Nina's friend who's been the school’s running lead in all the productions. She is nearing the end of her career, and all the dancers are aiming to take her place as Odette, the Swan Queen, in the next big ballet: Swan Lake.
Cassel is taking on the role of the "handsome but sinister Yevna," the director of the new stage production.
Hershey is replacing Meryl Streep in the role of Nina's mother.
This film has brought together a very talented cast of actors, and Darren Aronofsky is a incredibly talented director. I'm definitely looking forward to checking this movie out... and that's with or with out the ecstasy-induced hungry aggressive angry sex between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis.
